Stacey Solomon has revealed the sweet comment her husband Joe Swash made to her after she walked down the aisle.

The singer turned TV personality, 32, has been sharing glimpses of her big day with fans on social media.

She made the latest revelation on her Instagram Story when a fan asked if Joe shed a tear when she walked down the aisle.

Joe had some sweet words for Stacey.

Stacey replied: "Joe. He was so nervous and emotional. He [grabbed] my hands so tight when I got to him and said 'Stace I've been here ages. I'm so glad you're here I can't stop crying and everyone's looking at me."

The X Factor star shared the first snaps from her wedding day on 28 July.

The series of pictures was captioned: "Forever. Me and My Husband. I don't think I will ever get used to saying that.

"It all feels like a dream."

She then added a quote from Dr Seuss, which read: "You know you're in love when you don’t want to fall asleep because reality is finally better than your dreams."

Stacey and Joe had been together for seven years before tying the knot and share two children, Rex and Rose.

Rose is the famous couple's youngest daughter and she was born last October.

Stacey revealed that her flower girl dress was actually made from offcuts of her own in another post.

She wrote: "Rose's little dress was made from the offcuts of my dress.

"Before we knew we were pregnant with Rose we were going to get married last year I'm so glad we waited until she got here because these will forever be some of the most special memories of my life."

However, while Stacey might have had a fairytale wedding, she did have fears before the big day itself and said she was nervous about getting married for financial reasons.

She said: "I don't want anyone to have the ability to take half of everything I've worked hard for.

"I've set aside money for my children to make sure they've got a roof over their head, and I still have to work really hard to carry on making that happen for however long I've got left on my mortgage.

"I wouldn't ever want to be in a position where that could be taken away from them, so I have to be sensible".
