Selena Gomez shuts down rumours she's dating Drew Taggart from The Chainsmokers

Selena Gomez shuts down rumours she's dating Drew Taggart from The Chainsmokers

The singer has posted a message to her Instagram revealing all the speculation isn't true.

Selena Gomez has hit back at suggestions she's currently dating Drew Taggart from The Chainsmokers.

The 'Lose You To Love Me' singer had been spotted by keen paparazzi going bowling with the musician in New York City.

A source told Page Six, who published the photos of them together, said they were 'making out'.

“There was also a group of young girls that went up for pictures from her shortly after and a man getting an autograph,” the insider gushed.

Taggart is recently single after splitting from Eve Jobs, the daughter of the late Apple founder Steve Jobs.

Another source told US Weekly that Gomez and Taggart are taking things 'very casual' and are 'low-key'.

The person with the inside scoop said: "They aren't trying to hide their romance by sneaking around at members only clubs. Selena can hardly keep her hands off him."

Cosmopolitan also added that the two have been doing 'chill, normal person activities—think bowling and movie dates—and are having a lot of fun together'.

However, Gomez has hit back at the speculation that she's shacked up with anyone.

Nothing better than when it comes from the horse's mouth.

She posted a story to her Instagram account that said 'I like being alone too much' alongside a hashtag that said 'I am Single'.

Guess that settles that, then.

It's clear she's got bigger fish to fry, like acting alongside Meryl Streep in the next season of The Only Murders in the Building.

In what will go down as one of the most memorable casting reveals of all time, the three-time Oscar winner revealed she's now part of the show in the most adorable way.

Selena filmed herself chilling with co-stars Martin Short and Steve Martin before the camera panned to Paul Rudd, which should have been enough to get people excited to see the gang back together.

However, the Mamma Mia! and The Devil Wears Prada star popped up from behind Martin and offered him a pillow before placing it behind his back.

She then asked her new co-stars if they need anything like a personal assistant would.

We're mind-blown and so is Selena, who turned to the camera and gasped after Meryl made her big debut.

Meryl's character has yet to be named but if she's in costume in the clip above, then we're expecting to see a very sleek pulled back hairstyle that Miranda Priestly would approve of.
