Love Island's Andrew Le Page praised by fans after debuting bold new look

Social media users were full of praise after Andrew Le Page showed off a bold fashion choice, with some comparing him to Harry Styles.

Love Island alum Andrew announced he was in his ‘fashion era’ as he showcased his new look at London Fashion Week - well, he could hardly pick a better time or place could he?

Prior to revealing his unusual outfit, Andrew teased on Instagram: “Very excited to show you all what I wore last night for LFW. Let’s just say, I don’t think you’d expect it.”

And it’s fair to say he was right.

In a snap from the event shared on his Instagram, Andrew could be seen wearing a lavender ensemble consisting of a pair of high-waisted, wide leg trousers and loose fitting blazer which he wore open over his bare torso. He completed his look with a pendant necklace and a pair of white trousers.

Andrew was joined by girlfriend - and fellow ex-Islander - Tasha Ghouri at the event, who had also gone all out with her outfit, opting for a lime green blazer with matching shorts, a pale blue bag and a pair of statement heels.

Andrew’s bold sartorial choices were praised on social media, with one fan writing: “Okay, but he actually looks really good here.”

Another said: “I would be so sick if my bf ate me up like this, sorry," while a third commented: “He can pull it off, I like it.”

Someone else joked: “Harry Styles shaking crying throwing up rn [right now].”

A fifth person posted simply: “He’s slaying.” ver,

However, as we all know - fashion is a subjective thing (unless we’re talking about how awful low-rise jeans are, in which case I think we can all agree).

And Andrew’s new look didn’t please everyone, and he got some negative comments online, prompting him to turn off comments on the post but not before Tasha hit back: "People are not understanding what fashion is in the comments. Props to you for going outside the box. Proud of you".

Meanwhile, his look has continued to be flooded with praise over on Tasha’s post of their LFW looks.

“Tash you look amazing but Andrew is slaying this look,” one wrote.

Someone else agreed, adding: “Looking fabulous but must say he has it in the bag.”

Another said: “You guys. Must say Andrew reminded me of Harry Styles with the outfit.” High praise indeed.
