Love Island's Paige Thorne addresses split from Adam Collard for the first time

Paige has officially addressed her split with Adam

Love Island star Paige Thorne has officially addressed her split from co-star Adam Collard, and she did not hold back.

On this year's series, Paige found herself coupled up with Love Island veteran Adam after he made a shock return to the villa, and when they left the show in fifth place, they seemed all loved up.

But just months later, there were rumours of a brutal break-up, and now Paige has finally decided to open up about what went down.

Speaking on the Saving Grace podcast, Paige officially confirmed that she was single before getting into the juicy details.

"I’m single - living my best life," she joked, before admitting: "No I’m kidding, it’s been a really s**t time."

Podcast host GK Barry went on to ask Paige about compromising videos of Adam that had spread across the TikTok and Twitter-spheres just a few weeks ago.

In the video, she explained that Adam could be seen in McDonald's after a night out with his arm around a young blonde woman.

Paige admitted that she saw the video around the same time that everyone else did, and thought nothing of it at first, but the evidence kept piling up.

"Do you know what?" she said.

"It's not just that video. There are other videos that people don't know about. Of different people, on the same night, in different locations."

When host GK Barry asked if there were bedrooms involved in any of the other videos, Paige replied: "More like VIP toilets."

Ever the optimist, Paige is trying not to let the drama get to her and wants to avoid giving it more energy than it's worth.

"We had a great time, we had a nice time," she said before laughing: "Did I always know I was gonna get done over? Did I get Collard-ed?"

Elsewhere in the podcast, Paige was asked if she'd had any contact with Jacques O'Neill since leaving the villa.

Paige and Jacques were in a slightly unhealthy couple before Adam strutted into the Love Island villa this year. Eventually, when the pressure mounted after a brutal stay in Casa Amor, Jacques decided to leave the show.

The rugby pro had promised Paige that he'd wait for her on the outside, but when she went on to couple up with Adam, fans figured Jacques would probably go back on that promise.

"There has been slight contact," Paige admitted - but she has no plans on getting back together with her former co-star.

"Let's not forget how that boy done me in Casa. No. You're not getting this again," she joked.

"We're just gonna see where things go. I'm in zero rush to be with any other men in my life because men are trash."
