News broke last month that Love Island stars Adam Collard and Paige Thorne had gone their separate ways after just a couple of months of dating.
Adam confirmed at last month’s NTAs that their romance had come to an end, but didn’t share any more details, while Paige suggested her former boyfriend had been unfaithful after photos emerged online of Adam with his arm around another woman.
But Adam has now spoken in depth about what went down between him and his ex, insisting nothing happened with the woman he was seen getting close to.

He told The Sun: “I've heard so much misinformation the past few days, so I feel like I need to now say what really happened.
“The night I was seen with my arm around the girl in McDonald’s I’d been out on a PA and met loads of people that evening. It’s my job at the end of the day, to take pictures and selfies and things like that.”
Adam went on: “Anyway, after that me and my friends were starving so we decided to go for a McDonald’s and we walked there whereas normally we’d be taken by security.
“So anyway we just walked along, which isn’t normally the case, and in there was when we met the blonde girl who was like the famous one out of the video that was shared around.”
The reality star continued: “She actually was really nice and polite and we’d had a couple of drinks but what she said was ‘I got in tonight to the club but my friends didn’t’.”
Insisting there was nothing more to the video, he concluded: “So what you don’t actually see in the video is the camera goes around and I get photos with all of her friends like that and take pictures with all of them.”
Speaking on the carpet at last month’s NTAs, Adam told reporters of his and Paige’s relationship status: “We’re not together. Things happen. But, I mean, she is a great girl.”
Shortly after his appearance at the star-studded bash, Paige offered up her side of the story on the Saving Grace podcast, saying: “It's not just that video [of Adam with his arm around the blonde woman in McDonald’s].
“There are other videos that people don't know about. Of different people, on the same night, in different locations."
She then quipped: "We had a great time, we had a nice time," she said before laughing: "Did I always know I was gonna get done over? Did I get Collard-ed?"
