Love Island's Adam Collard Responds To Paige Split Rumours

Love Island's Adam Collard Responds To Paige Split Rumours

Adam has set the record straight.

Love Island's Adam Collard has responded to rumours that he and Paige Thorne have parted ways since leaving the villa.

Rumours began circulating after Adam, 26, took to Instagram on Wednesday (3 August) where he shared a topless photo of himself captioned: "Don't call it a comeback".

Paige had also posted her own photo, at the show's London wrap party alone, which fuelled the rumours further.

People were quick to comment, with one person writing: "Are you and Paige still together?"

"I bloody hope so since I'm seeing her tomorrow," Adam replied, adding: "Course we are, I can't wait just family comes first x."

Viewers became worried for the couple after the 'meet the parents' episode of Love Island this week, when Paige's mum expressed some concerns about Adam.

Ahead of the final on Monday, the remaining 10 islanders were paid a very special visit from their parents to get their thoughts on their relationships - and they did not hold back.

Sitting down with her mum and dad - who has refused to watch his daughter cracking on in the villa - Paige was eager to find out what they thought of her blossoming romance with Adam.

After taking a long pause to think about her answer, Paige's mum whispered: "I'm not buying it."

Adam said the couple are meeting up this week.

As if that wasn't enough of a shock for Paige to hear, the Welsh paramedic was at a loss for words when her mum confessed that she had preferred her with Jacques.

She said: "The way you were with Jacques was completely different. You were a lot more you, and full of life and personality. You just seemed a lot different with Jacques."

Speaking in the Beach Hut later, Paige laughed: "My mum and her savage comments. I mean, she would be. I was just like 'Oh, for God's sake'."

But it seems the pair are still going strong, and finished their Love Island journey in fifth place.

Meanwhile, the Love Island finalists - Luca and Gemma, Tasha and Andrew, Indiyah and Dami - and the winners of this year's series - Ekin-Su and Davide - all touched down in the UK this week.

We recently told you how fans have been praising Davide after he decided to unfollow Casa Amor's George Tasker following the comments he made about Ekin-Su.

One person wrote: "It speaks volumes that this is one of the first things Davide did. It just confirms again that Davide believes and trusts Ekin."
