Katie Price fans divided as she posts video of eight year old daughter with makeup

Katie Price fans divided as she posts video of eight year old daughter with makeup

Her video has received mixed comments.

Katie Price's fans are divided over one of her more recent social media posts, which features her eight-year-old daughter Bunny wearing makeup.

The mum and daughter duo had been filming a video together for TikTok, dancing to Britney Spears and Elton John's new single 'Hold Me Closer', when viewers piled on the backlash.

Both Katie, 44, and Bunny grinned from ear to ear as they danced side-by-side in the sweet clip, before Katie crouched down to give her daughter a kiss. Watch the video here:

While Katie has helped Bunny play with makeup before, some viewers were horrified that the former model had let her daughter doll herself up for the video.

"Don't let her grow up too fast, Katie. Still a child", warned one TikToker.

"Great, so Katie can't let her daughter just be a little girl", complained a second.

"God help the little one", wrote a third.

But others rushed to Katie's defence, arguing that there was nothing wrong with the mother-daughter video.

"Some of these comments are awful..." wrote one unimpressed follower. "As a mum to girls myself, all I see is a mum having fun with her girl."

Katie got quite a bit of backlash from her TikTok with Bunny.

Another added: "Normality... I love it! Not being anything but mother and daughter."

And a third raved: "Beautiful. Always the best mum."

The backlash over Bunny's makeup comes just weeks after Katie was warned to take down a video of her daughter, who she shares with her ex-husband Kieran Hayler.

The mum-of-five had posted a seemingly-harmless clip of Bunny eating a lollipop to social media, but was quickly bombarded with comments warning her about her child's safety online.

After the video gained traction, a representative for Kieran told The Sun that he had been "made aware" of the post and planned to address it with Katie.

"It's raised alarm bells and concern over videos featuring their daughter Bunny. The children's safety is paramount, Kieran will exercise the appropriate measure to ensure this", they had stated.

Meanwhile, Katie's older daughter Princess, 15, has been up against her own social media critics, who complain that she wears too much makeup.

Princess, who Katie shares with ex-husband Peter Andre, had posted a photo of her bridesmaid look from her Aunt Sophie's wedding day back in July when she was called out by trolls.

"Lovely young girl .. I think lovelier still with less makeup" read one comment.

"You don't need the makeup princess you are beautiful without it !xx" added another.

Eventually, a debate erupted in the comment section of Princess's post, and it wasn't long before the teenager decided to step in.

Sharing her own take on people criticising her makeup, she wrote: "All these comments about makeup. It was a wedding. But I do appreciate the people being nice."
