Peter Andre says it 'scares' him that daughter Princess looks like a 'young lady'

Peter Andre has admitted that it 'scares' him to see how quickly his teen daughter Princess is turning into a 'young lady'.

The 'Mysterious Girl' singer and West End star confessed that he can't believe how much the 15-year-old has grown up before his eyes.

Peter, 49, added that people have been telling him Princess is the 'spitting image' of him, though he doesn't see it himself.

After posting photos from a recent family holiday to Cyprus, Peter was inundated with comments from fans who couldn't believe how much Princess looked like her dad.

Writing about it for his new! magazine column, Peter explained: "I posted a couple of pictures of us and surprisingly people have been saying Princess is the spitting image of me. I don’t see it, but poor her!"

He continued: "Princess is so beautiful and she’s suddenly gone from looking like a kid to a young lady.

“It scares me but in a good way. We have a proper laugh now and it’s exciting watching her and Junior grow up."

Peter shares Princess and her older brother Junior, 17, with his ex-wife Katie Price. The singer is also father to Amelia, eight, and Theo, five, who he shares with his wife Emily Andre.

Elsewhere in his column, Peter shared that he had taken his wife and four children on a trip to Cyprus to celebrate Emily's 33rd birthday.

He wrote: "At the time of writing this I finally got to sneak out to our home in Cyprus with all the kids and it was amazing.

"We celebrated Ems’ birthday out there. She said she didn’t want a present, but it turns out a little Zara shopping spree was just what the doctor ordered. See what I did there?"

When Peter shared the snaps from the trip with his 1.8 million Insta followers, they couldn't help but notice that Princess 'looks so much like her dad'.

But others argued that the teen looked far more like her mum

One fan commented: "Princess is the image of Kate on here. The way she is standing, everything."

Despite his shock at how quickly his little girl is growing up, Peter told fans just last year that he would be happy for Princess to become a Love Island star one day - though he does have one rule.

Writing about his daughter's obsession with the ITV reality series for another edition of his column, he revealed: “Princess has said she wants to do Love Island but I still haven't changed my mind about that.

“Presenting it? Yes. A contestant? Not so sure!"
