Olivia Attwood has secret way to communicate with fiancé in I’m a Celeb

Love Island star Olivia Attwood has joined the lineup for I'm a Celebrity 2022, but has admitted she'll miss boyfriend Bradley Dack

Olivia Attwood has revealed she has a secret way to communicate with her fiancé while she’s in the jungle for I’m a Celebrity.

The 2017 Love Island star – who made it to the final of the reality series with ex-boyfriend Chris Hughes – has joined the lineup for this year’s I’m a Celeb, which finally returns to Australia after Covid relocated the action to a Welsh castle.

After touching down in Australia, she admitted she’d miss fiancé Bradley Dack while taking part in the show, but revealed they had a special way to communicate with one another.

Speaking to The Sun at Brisbane Airport, she said: “I am scared of me, in terms of how long the other campmates can tolerate me. I will get myself in trouble somehow, the usual.”

When asked what she would miss about home, she replied: “God it's day one so not much at the minute but in three or four days the dogs and my fiancé probably.”

Attwood went on to explain how she has come up with ways to communicate with footballer Dack.

"I have got a really cute idea as well so I will save it for in the camp," she said.

"We have got a few little set ups."

This is in addition to their matching bracelets, which she spoke about in a recent Q&A on Instagram after a fan asked where the jewellery came from.

Sharing a photo of their blue string bracelets, Attwood replied: "Little beach shop in Portugal. Been holding onto them for something special."

Upon officially joining the lineup, Attwood said things hadn’t ‘sunk in’ yet, but added that she was looking forward to a ‘digital detox’.

She said in a statement: “Being part of I’m A Celebrity still hasn’t sunk in yet and when I first got the call to take part, I didn’t really believe it!

“It felt surreal because taking part in the jungle is the absolute pinnacle. It’s the crème de la crème of all shows and obviously I didn’t have to think about it. I said yes immediately.

"One of the things that will be nice will be to show a different side to me. I think people think I am high maintenance and I will struggle without make-up and nails but I am not that bothered and I think that might surprise people.

“I am happy to muck in. It will also be nice to have a digital detox."
