Hilary Swank shares ultrasound of one of her twins flexing its bicep

Hilary Swank has shared a sweet ultrasound snap of her ‘million dollar baby’ flexing their arm in the womb.

The 48-year-old star is set to welcome twins - she’s dubbed Baby A and Baby B - next month and has kept her followers up to date on her pregnancy journey.

In her most recent post, Swank shared a shot of an ultrasound showing one of her twins flexing their arm - captioning it: “Baby A flexing for the camera at their ultrasound. #TheRealMillionDollarBaby #Prizefighter.”

The hashtag is, of course, a reference to Swank’s 2005 movie Million Dollar Baby in which she played a waitress turned fighter - and it looks as though her baby is keen to make a reboot already.

The twins will be Swank’s and husband Philip Schneider’s first children.

The actor announced the happy news in October last year during an interview with Good Morning America today, revealing it was something she had 'been wanting for a long time.'

“I’m so happy to share it with you and with America right now,” she said.

“This is just something that I've been wanting for a long time and my next thing is that I'm going to be a mom! And not just of one, but of two!"

The Academy Award winner added: "It's so nice to be able to talk about it and share it."

Swank on went to talk about the difficulty she had trying to keep her pregnancy under wraps while filming Alaska Daily.

"It's such a blessing. It's a total miracle. It's unbelievable," she began

"My clothes started not to fit so I had to, the other day... cut [my jeans] open."

Swank continued: "And then I put a jacket on that wasn't in continuity. And [they] came and said, 'That's not in continuity.' I said, 'Oh, I think it works.' 'It doesn't.' 'No, it does. I'm going to make it work.'

"She's like, 'If you're an executive producer, you can do it, but this is weird.'"

She has also shared her due date - confirming that the twins are set to be born on 16 April.

The date has a very special meaning for the P.S. I Love You star said it happens to be her late father Stephen Michael Swank’s birthday.

“They’re due on his birthday,” she revealed on The Drew Barrymore Show.

“Yeah, I know,” Swank said as her eyes filled with tears.

Swank's dad sadly passed away in October 2021.
