Geordie Shore star Marnie Simpson has revealed she has finally married Casey Johnson, saying she feels 'over the moon' after saying 'I do' - having faced various delays due to the pandemic.

The couple got married today (Wednesday 22 March) and filmed the big day for their fans, with plans to share their wedding snaps next week.

They told OK: "We've finally tied the knot - we're over the moon!"

Earlier today, barber Tan Ozata shared a video of Johnson getting a fresh cut ahead of the 'big day', writing in the caption: "@caseycodyj getting his trim the night before his and @marns big day! #wedding #trim #skinfade #reels #haircut #feelinggood #okmagazine #mtv."

Yesterday, he also posted a smiling selfie alongside Johnson.

"Had the pleasure of trimming my guy @caseycodyj the night before for getting married to @marns," Ozata said.

"Have the best day ever guys!! Congrats!! Excuse my 12-hour shift face!"

Simpson's Geordie Shore co-star Chantelle Connelly posted a photo of her glamming up for a big do with under-eye gel patches.

While she didn't specify what she was doing, she wrote: "Ready for the big day."

Simpson and former X Factor star Johnson got engaged in August 2020, having met three years before when they both appeared on the programme Single AF.

Two years later, they welcomed their first son Rox, who was joined by little brother Oax in May 2022.

Announcing the birth of baby number two, Simpson wrote on Instagram: "Baby boy has arrived safe and sound. We’re completely in awe, our family is complete."

Johnson commented: “Love my little family so much."

Many of Simpson's famous followers rushed to the comments section to congratulate her on her new arrival, with Love Island star Olivia Bowen writing: “Omg Marnie so happy for you all sending soooo much love congratulations xxxxxx.”

Geordie Shore’s Chloe Ferry left a heart-eyes emoji and wrote: “Congratulations.”

Their fellow star Charlotte Crosby added: “Woooooooooooooo.”

Simpson left the popular MTV series in 2018, confirming her permanent departure on Twitter.

“For everyone [who keeps] asking, I have in fact permanently left Geordie Shore,” she wrote after five years on the show.
