Chloe Madeley has revealed how it felt to move back in with her parents after giving birth to her baby daughter, Bodhi, last year.

The personal trainer and fitness influencer, 35, is the daughter of TV presenters Richard Madeley and Judy Finnigan.

Soon after giving birth in August last year, Chloe and her husband, former rugby player James Haskell, were forced to relocate and she definitely had her doubts about how so many people – including a newborn – would be able to live under one roof.

“I panicked,” the influencer shared in an interview with The Sun.

“I was quietly devastated and dreading it. I thought we were all going to be so frazzled.”

Thankfully in the end, the move wasn’t as bad as Chloe originally thought it would be – don’t you just love when that happens!

In fact, moving back in with her parents completely changed her relationship with the Richard and Judy presenters.

“There’s just been the loveliest family camaraderie between us,” she told The Sun. “My mum and I have never been this close.

“I’ve always been a daddy’s girl. But since I got pregnant, it’s flipped completely.

“My dad is interested, but he’s also done with the conversation after a couple of minutes, whereas my mum has been living and breathing it with me. This is the closest I’ve ever felt to her.”

She previously told OK! that her famous mum sees Bodhi as ‘another daughter’, which is so adorable.

“My mum basically sees Bodhi as another daughter. My dad sees her as his little granddaughter and is obsessed with her. He will just randomly drop into the house to see her. They are brilliant grandparents.

Chloe, James and Bodhi had to move back in with Richard and Judy because of the renovations taking place at the former’s home.

They have since returned back to their own residence and have documented their ongoing renovation project on Instagram, using the handle @homehaskell.

Not long after giving birth, Chloe and James chatted on Loose Women about their journey to parenthood with hosts Charlene White, Nadia Sawalha, Carol McGiffin, and Sophie Morgan in September 2022.

Chloe said she wasn’t sure if she wanted children initially and felt nervous up until her third trimester.

“I spent a long time not sure if I wanted children, and I think a lot of women don’t necessarily talk about it,” she explained.

“In the third trimester, I was really nervous, like, I hope I’ve made the right decision and I kind of thought that would go away. It didn’t and I was really nervous about it.

She continued: “As soon as I saw her I just fell madly in love and thought, ‘This is the best thing I’ve ever done!’”
