Fans are flooding to social media in concern for Britney Spears after she posted a video of herself in the shower on Instagram.
The 41-year-old 'Toxic' singer may have deactivated her Instagram account earlier this month in a bid to take a break from social media, but it didn't take her long to get back on the platform and share a series of shower selfies and videos.

The posts are in typical Spears' fashion, multiple angles, dancing and captioned with many an exclamation mark and emoji, but the comments are disabled.
Spears revealed to followers she is currently in Mexico, sharing a video of her dancing as well as a series of other images from before, after and during her shower.
Captioning the first shower selfie post, she wrote: "Instagram doesn’t like posts of people revealing their bodies anymore so here’s a selfie of me in Mexico !!! Mom and Dad … I crossed the border and I made it !!! After no coffee for 15 years … Mom we can go have coffee together now !!! I’m treated as an equal … let’s have coffee and talk about it !!!"
In a follow-up post, Spears uploaded a video of herself in the shower, posing for the camera as the water falls onto her - the shot just of her shoulders upwards.
The caption reads: "I’m posting these from Mexico !!!! Honestly I have no idea why but I can see better !!!! I was in the shower for two hours but we can’t reveal our bodies now !!!
"There’s something about shooting in water !!! I wanted to see my eyes !!!"
Followers have been left confused and concerned by Spears' series of posts - another selfie and video of the same nature following the first two uploads.
One Twitter user wrote: "Is anyone else worried about Britney Spears? Her instagram comments are off now because people kept commenting that they don’t think she’s safe and that it’s really her posting. And her posts have been so bizarre. I hope she’s okay though."
"Umm.. whoever is handling #BritneySpears Instagram disabled comments. Now I am even more worried for her!" another said.
A third commented: "What the actual f is going on with Britney Spears’s Instagram? I’ve been concerned but even more so now. And comments are turned off."
A final resolved: "I know people are concerned about Britney Spears and rightly so cos her Instagram posts are the definition of bizarre. Like, she’s not OK, something odd is going on over there."
