If you haven’t seen Pam & Tommy on Disney+, you must be living under a rock. Never mind the excitement in the re-telling of this electric and somewhat toxic love story between Lily James’ Pamela Anderson and Sebastian Stan’s Tommy Lee, it’s the show’s hairstyles that are giving us life.

So much so, that #PamelaAndersonHair has garnered over 336 million views on TikTok, and counting. So if you’re looking to jump on the bandwagon, here are all the tools you need to nail the ‘Pammy Updo’ for yourself.

Brace yourselves, the 90s updo is coming in hot. And we’re totally here for it.

What is #PamelaAndersonHair on TikTok?

Quite simply, #PamelaAndersonHair on TikTok is a trend that sees people trying out a purposefully messy updo on themselves and looking fabulous, if we might add!

Social media moguls film themselves using various hair tools to try and recreate the look which was seen on Lilly James in Pam & Tommy but was originally popularised by the 90s queen herself, Pamela Anderson.

How to get Pam Anderson hair:

If you’re looking to channel a little bit of Pamela Anderson in your next look, look no further. Tyla has enlisted the help of hairdresser and Loxies Hairwear founder Ellie Hogan for all the best tips and tricks to get Pam Anderson hair.

Firstly, Hogan suggests Pam & Tommy fanatics should start with their hair “pre-curled or waved to add some extra texture and volume”.

If your natural locks tend to be a little lacklustre or flat, you can add some more volume “by gently backcombing the front sections”, which will be left out for those effortless 90s curtain bangs.

If you’re lucky enough to have bangs already, “then use a big round brush and hairdryer to add some volume”, Hogan explains.

Next, “section your hair just below your crown, tying the top half into a messy bun.”

“Now pin the remaining hair from the bottom section into your bun. Play around with placement and pin into place.”

And voilà, the perfect Pamela Anderson updo. You're welcome.
