Mrs Hinch Shares Simple Hack To Wash Your Beauty Blenders

Why didn't we think of this?

Mrs Hinch really performs a public service if you think about it, bringing us all the cleaning and storage tips we could ever wish for.

But sometimes even she needs a little helping hand.

Yesterday, she took to Instagram to ask her trusted followers - all 3.1million of them - how to clean her beauty blenders (which are basically makeup sponges) and it sounds like many came to her rescue.

She revealed on her page that you just need to pop them in a sock, seal with a bobble and pop in the washing machine.

She said on her story: "One of the most popular answers guys was: Pop the beauty blenders into an old sock, tie with a hairband and Chuck into the washing machine! So I'm gonna give it a go!"

It sounds so simple - it's like the classic hack of washing your trainers by bunging them in a pillowcase - why didn't we think of this?

There's us scrubbing and rinsing our blenders in the sink, when we could've just let the washing machine do the hard work for us.

To be honest, it was her big reveal of the blenders that we really enjoyed, not only did they look great, she captioned the unveiling: "The wash load has finished guys! Never been so excited to get some balls out in my life!"

LOL. Thank you for making our day Mrs Hinch.

The 29-year-old from Essex continued, after showing how successful the hack was: "I'm impressed! Thanks guys."

The cleaning legend, influencer and author, who's real name is Sophie Hinchcliffe, was clearly on a mission yesterday to sort out her cosmetics, after snapping up some little white baskets from Pound Stretcher to sort out her make-up into categories within her beauty dresser drawers.

The before and after seemed to work well, with Mrs Hinch explaining the blenders were still nice and spongey (

She also commented on how she needed to clean her brushes. Anybody got any tips to help her with that one?

Thank god for social media, this has really, changed our lives.
