Top Boy Fans Spot Clue Ats Is Dead In Season 2

Fans are heartbroken.

The trailer for season two of Top Boy has officially dropped, and while fans are most definitely hyped for the Netflix series to return, many are heartbroken after discovering that one beloved character has died.

You can watch the new trailer here:

So far, the season two storyline has been kept mostly under wraps, but after analysing the new trailer, fans have already figured out some key plot points.

Most notably, fans were devastated when they clocked that Ats has died.

Ats (Kieyon Cook) - a kid from the Summerhouse Estate who wound up being used as a pawn in the drug war between Dushane and Jamie - was a favourite among Top Boy fans.

In season one (or season three, depending on how you look at it), Ats had a few brushes with death thanks to Jamie's gang, but managed to survive to the end of the season thanks to his mum.

Ats was still in hot water, though, with his family on the brink of deportation and Jamie's gang still hot on his tail.

And judging by the latest trailer, things won't end will for Dushane's young apprentice.

Clocking the memorial dedicated to Ats, as well as scenes of Ats' BFF Stefan playing by himself in the schoolyard, fans realised that the worst had happened.

Posting to Reddit, one viewer commented: "Ats is dead am I the only that clocked".

Another added: "Damn rip Ats :("

Meanwhile on Twitter, one heartbroken fan wrote: "Nah ats can’t be dead 🥲 #topboy."

Top Boy returns to Netflix on 8th March.
