Ever since The Weekend Away dropped on Netflix earlier this month, fans have been sharing their opinions over the gripping murder mystery.
While many were floored over the twist at the end of the film, others claimed they 'knew from the start' who was responsible for Kate's murder.
But one part of the movie that people seem to have a bit of a bug bear with, is Leighton Meester's character, Beth, with many viewers getting frustrated over some of the decisions Beth makes.
If you're yet to watch the film, it's based on the novel of the same name by Sarah Alderson and stars Gossip Girl's Leighton Meester.

It follows Beth as she heads off for a long-awaited weekend away in Croatia with her best friend Kate - but when, after a boozy night out, Beth wakes up in her apartment alone, she's left to unravel the night's events - including how Kate went missing.
Tragically, when a body is discovered not far from their apartment, Kate is revealed to be dead.
Throughout the movie, Beth tries to unravel the truth, but almost ends up being imprisoned for Kate's murder herself.
While investigating, Beth makes a number of decisions that viewers were unhappy with - for example, accepting an invitation to stay in the apartment belonging to her Airbnb host, who unbeknownst to Beth had CCTV footage set up in guests' rooms.

"Beth is too trusting. I don’t trust the owner of the rental," one viewer wrote.
And another added: "Ok but Beth wasn't doin enough thinkin for me. Slimy husband & cop aside, what if the Airbnb owner was the killer? Why are u acceptin his spare room?"
Meanwhile others weren't happy that Beth placed so much trust in taxi driver Zain, with another adding: "This man who is a stranger is telling you that you trust people too easily. Your friend ends up missing, etc. and every time there is a problem you call this stranger… AND BETH YOU DON’T FIND THAT STRANGE.."

Later in the movie, fans were particularly peeved over the final scene Beth has with Rob, where she realises Rob killed Kate.

When she finds the necklace bead in his jacket pocket, many fans urged Beth to run, but instead, she locked herself in the bathroom before confronting her husband.
"It’s so frustrated to see Beth always do stupid thing. The whole movie I was screaming GIRL YOU SHOULD NOT DO THAT!!!! #TheWeekendAway," said one.
And another said: "Beth seems so naive! Ah! #TheWeekendAway It's just sheer luck that she survived the last scene. Sigh."
While a third added: "I think Beth really is stupid? Bc why is she not leaving his apartment? Why did she ask to use his bathroom? Like girl, if you’re suspicious, shouldn’t you get away??"
