Season four of Stranger Things sparked a very serious discussion among fans after watching Max Mayfield (Sadie Sink) cheat death with the help of Kate Bush's 'Running Up That Hill'.
In arguably one of the most fantastic television moments of the year, viewers watched Max use the sound of her favourite song to escape the Upside Down and live to see another day, avoiding a grizzly death at the hands of the season's villian, Vecna.

It wasn't long after the episode aired on Netflix that fans began to wonder: what would be the one song to save us from Vecna (Should we ever find ourselves in such a situation)?
Thankfully, Spotify has come up with a solution to answer that question for us - and not a moment too soon!
The music streaming giant has created a brand new feature on their app to help users discover their own 'saviour song'.

That means, should you ever find yourself hallucinating grandfather clocks, experiencing unexplained nosebleeds, or find yourself mysteriously levitating five feet in the air with your eyes rolling back in your head, you pals will know what tune to blare.

To find your very own Upside Down playlist, all you need to do is follow this link from Spotify.

Ideally, you'll already be logged in to Spotify on whatever device you're working with. If so, a personalised Upside Down playlist will appear on your screen, consisting of some of your most played songs, as well as some of the classic Stranger Things tunes like 'Should I Stay Or Should I Go' by the Clash, and 'Master Of Puppets' by Metallica.
If you're not already logged in to Spotify on the device you're using, the link will bring you to a placeholder playlist, containing 50 guilty pleasure tunes that might just be enough to save you from Vecna's curse.
Stranger Things fans believe they're about to find out what Nancy Wheeler's 'saviour song' will be in the penultimate episode of season 4, which is set to drop on Netflix on this week. alongside the two-hour finale.
When we last saw the Stranger Things gang, Nancy had been trying to climb out of the Upside Down when she fell unconscious and began levitating, leaving Steve, Robin, Eddie, Dustin, Max, Lucas, and Erica with very little time to hatch a plan to save her from Vecna.

As fans learned from Max's near-death experience earlier in the season, playing someone's favourite song is a surefire way to get through to someone who has been possessed by the creatures of the Upside Down.
Will the gang manage to save Nancy in time? Or will she end up like cheerleader Chrissy Cunningham?
The final two episodes of Stranger Things season four will air on Netflix on Friday, 1 July.
