Selling Sunset fans are heartbroken after Jason Oppenheim reflected on his break-up with Chrishell Stause during the first ever reunion episode.

Host Tan France asked Jason whether his highly publicised relationship with his co-worker was a "showmance or real".
Jason responded by calling the question 'stupid' and compared it to asking if the earth is flat.

Shocked by his response, Tan and the other cast members watch as Jason breaks down in tears and asks for a moment to compose his thoughts.
His ex-girlfriend and Oppenheim Group office manager Mary Fitzgerald offers to give him a hug.
Fans on social media were moved by Jason's confession and shared their thoughts after watching the tender scene.
One viewer shared: "I wish he would have resolved his inner conflict about kids and they could have lived happily ever after - total conjecture but I feel like there’s something that needs healing within him that is stopping him from full commitment and fatherhood (same with Brett)".

Their relationship was made Instagram official in July 2021 after Chrishell shared a series of photos of the Selling Sunset crew in Capri, with the caption: "The JLo effect."
Jason's twin brother Brett commented on the post and acknowledged their new romance. "Love you Chrishell. Thank you for making my brother happy," he wrote at the time.
Chrishell and Jason's romance was documented in the fifth season of Season Sunset and cameras captured their PDA, the moment Chrishell met Jason's mum and their fertility journey.

Their break-up was shown in the final episode after it was confirmed in December 2021.
Chrishell is now dating a non-binary musician called G Flip.
