Viewers are flooding to social media in horror after watching an extremely awkward conversation about sex unfold on an episode of My Unorthodox Life.

Prepare to remind yourself to not watch this programme in earshot of your parents incase they get any ideas:

The Netflix reality programme focuses on the personal and professional life of former ultra-Orthodox Jewish community member turned fashion designer, and former chief executive officer of Elite Model Management, Julia Haart.

If a television series has the word, 'Unorthodox' in the title, it implies not only will the focus potentially be on members of the Jewish community, but that viewers should also buckle up and expect some unusual conversations.

And unusual conversations the show has indeed provided, with one particular discussion in the latest season about 'squirting' leaving some viewers utterly gobsmacked.

The discussion around 'squirting' has proven a bit too much for viewers to handle.

The scene in question sees Julia and her family on a trip which the mum hopes will bring her family closer together.

And what better way to bond than to all get nice and open and discuss everyone's sexual experiences?

According to TV Show Transcripts, when the topic of sex lives comes up in conversation, Julia is quick to reflect on her own experiences, noting she was 'so shocked the first time [she] squirted'.

The mum continues: "Miriam's like, 'I squirted!' Batsheva's like, 'I squirted!'

"I'm like, 'Oh my God, it's a family...' Oh my gosh! I'm not okay with this! It's the super-soaker Brady Bunch. Ew! It's the Bellagio fountain."

Julia also spoke about her daughters' sexual experiences.

Like most of us sons or daughters would, Batsheva was quick to tell her mum to, 'Shut the f**k up'.

"I'm not telling you anything anymore," she resolved.

Indeed, many viewers had the same horrified response and flooded to Twitter in shock over the topic of conversation which came up between the family members.

One user said: "Watching My Unorthodox Life on Netflix. Julia discussing her memoir, and pages w/details of her sex life (SPOILER: she squirts)

"My wife: That's why she got the BIG ring, cuz she's a squirter.

"Me: [skull and crossbones emoji]."

"Obsessed with my unorthodox life.. but telling your mum you squirt is crazy," another commented.

A third responded: "Pardon," while a final echoed a similar disbelief: "What."

Parents on Mumsnet have also had a field day over the season two episode.

One resolved: "Julia is her [Batsheva's] mum, not her best friend which she's constantly trying to be.

"The squirting chat was soooo inappropriate and I'd be raging too!"
