Netflix's reality series My Unorthodox Life will be coming back for a second season on the streaming platform.
The show focuses on businesswoman Julia Haart and her family after they leave the ultra-orthodox Jewish faith and the religious community that they have called home for many years.
After leaving, Haart and her daughter Miriam live a non-religious lifestyle in Manhattan, but they occasionally travel back to Monsey, New York, where they used to live, as her son still lives there.
Haart is a successful businesswoman, running the Elite World Group, a modelling agency and fashion company.

The second season will see Haart continue to build her brand, with Netflix teasing that the show will see "more fashion, family, female empowerment, faith, fabulousness, and of course, Haart."
The first season of the show has documented Haart's journey from leaving the community to becoming the powerful CEO that she is, while also balancing a family.
In the pilot episode, she says: "It's hard to imagine that just a few years ago I was living in an extreme ultra Orthodox Jewish community and then I just packed up and left... there's one thing you can say is we have a very interesting life."

Haart began making clothes while part of the community, telling The New York Times that "fashion is a giant no-no" for Orthodox Jews.
She said: "The only point of clothing is to hide you. And if you love clothing and colour, that means you're too focused on the physical, you're not thinking about your soul. But I loved colour. And I had always worn high heels."
The first season of My Unorthodox Life was very popular, with fans begging for a second season ASAP.

When the show first dropped, one person wrote: "I have spent the last two nights binge-watching #MyUnorthodoxLife – please let there be a second season."
Netflix have not yet confirmed a release date for the second season, but in the meantime, the entire first season is available to stream on the platform.
