Netflix fans are rejoicing after the fourth season of the 'best show on TV' landed on Netflix today.

Manifest first launched in 2018 on NBC, telling the story of a group of strangers who all end up on the same flight from Jamaica to New York.

When it lands - a mysterious five years after it first took off - the passengers are presumed dead. But while trying to move on from what happened and integrate themselves back into society, they experience strange phenomenons, such as visions of the future and other weird realities.

When NBC aired the third season, there was a huge cliffhanger - but days later, much to fans' horror, the show had been cancelled.

However, Netflix came to the rescue, and picked up the show with Season 4 Part 1 dropping today (4 November).

So what can fans expect from the next instalment? Well, it looks like some of those cliffhangers will be cleared up.

“When you turn on the next episode, it’s two years later, and not only is Ben still deeply in the depths of depression and trauma over the loss of his wife, but you’ll of course recall that that was only half the tragedy,” series creator Jeff Rake explains to Tudum.

“The other half was the kidnapping of his infant daughter and tragically, two years later, she’s still missing.”

Meanwhile, Cal is trying to figure out where he's been, with Rake adding: “There’s sort of an amnesia there, and it’ll take these episodes and adventures that he’s put on throughout this journey to piece it back together.

“And that’s just on the mythological side. On the emotional side, he looks like he’s a grown up, but psychologically, he’s still a little boy.”

Season 4 will also unpack the mystery over what really happened to the passengers during those fateful turbulent moments on the plane.

And it's fair to say fans are seriously excited over the arrival of the fourth season, with many calling Manifest the 'best show on TV'.
