Have you ever considered relying on your brother or sister to help you find love? No, neither have we. But that's exactly what 16 singletons intend to do on Netflix's bizarre new reality series; Dated and Related.

The dating show, which dropped on the streaming service today, challenges pairs of siblings - and one pair of cousins - to act as wing-man one another if they want a shot at finding 'the one'. Yep, really.

Check out the trailer here:

Hosted by Too Hot To Handle winner Melinda Berry, Dated and Related promises to keep it in the family as contestants rely on their siblings to find their soulmate.

That means vetting other contestants on everything from looks and personality to the more... intimate details, to find their brother or sister's perfect match. *Shudder*.

A Netflix description of the series reads: "Imagine having to think about your sibling dating - how they flirt, how they treat their partners, and what their signature moves are.

"In this brand-new reality dating series, pairs of siblings will be seeing each other’s love life up close and personal as they search for ‘the one’ together.

"Having the person who knows you better than anyone should help you navigate the tricky world of dating. But will they act as the ultimate wingman and help you find love?

"Or scupper your plans and call you out on all your bullsh*t? Either way it might just be Awkward. As. Hell."

Erm... remind me not to sign up for this one.

Dated and Related is on Netflix now.

As insane as this show sounds, it's definitely piqued interest among curious reality TV fans, who are dying to see how it all goes down - and to find out who is crazy enough to trust their sibling with their love life.

Taking to Twitter after the new series dropped on Netflix, one person wrote: "Dated and Related is about to be the worst show I've ever seen. I can't wait."

A second excited user tweeted: "Netflix did not just recommend me a show called Dated and Related. LMFAOOO"

And a third asked: "Who wanted to watch Dated and Related on Netflix? I can't imagine my brother picking out my loved one for me. It sounds more like a nightmare!"

By the looks of this trailer, viewers are in for all sorts of strange relationship dynamics, from over protective brothers to supportive twin sisters.

Plus, things are bound to get a little bit too close for comfort when contestants have to figure out how to get intimate with their new partners - while their siblings are in the same room. Yikes!

Dated and Related is available to stream now on Netflix.
