Love Island Fans Left In Hysterics After Spotting Millie's Blunder In Beach Hut

Love Island Fans Left In Hysterics After Spotting Millie's Blunder In Beach Hut

It’s safe to assume Millie does not have a History GCSE.

Love Island is set to get explosive after Monday’s night’s elimination, as Faye Winter susses out that a close friend may have put herself and partner Teddy Soares up for elimination.

Millie Court and Liam Reardon decided to give themselves a quick pep talk to reassure themselves they had done the right thing by voting for Faye and Teddy, with the pair explaining to themselves why they didn’t believe Faye and Teddy were suited.

You can watch the video here.

It then cut to Millie in the Beach Hut, explaining her fears after voting for Faye with a succinct metaphor.

“If Faye finds out her friends have voted for her, it is going to be World War Two, there’s no doubt about that,” Millie explained.

But Millie’s monologue left Love Island fans cracking up, as it appears that Millie isn’t aware that World War Two already happened (between 1939 and 1945, for all you history buffs out there).

Taking to Twitter, fans couldn’t help but express their amusement, with one person writing: “Millie babe, I love you but World War Two has already happened.”

“So who’s going to tell Millie that World War Two ended in 1945?” a second added.

A third joked: “World War Two? Millie, hun?” while a fourth sympathised: “Oh Millie, we’ve already had World War Two. Love her!”

But the trailer for Tuesday night’s edition of Love Island shows there is a truly explosive fight on the way.

After departing Islander Priya Gopaldas bid adieu to the villa after being voted out by the public, she quickly asked Faye to come out to the balcony to tell her that she and partner Brett Staniland never voted for her and Teddy.

Whether Faye discovers it’s Liam and Millie who cast the deciding vote is still TBC, but she’s clearly still got a bone to pick with Jake Cornish.

The teaser saw Faye deride Jake as “fake” before storming off.

Will World War 2/3 really be on the horizon?

Love Island continues weeknights and Sundays at 9pm on ITV2. Episodes are available the next day on BritBox.
