Love Island Fans Praise Samuel For Telling The Truth To Paige

Love Island fans are thrilled with Casa Amor boy Samuel Agbiji after he spoke honestly to one of the girls about their connection in the main villa.

Samuel was sitting on the sun lounger on Tuesday night, 5 July, speaking to Ekin-Su, Paige, Gemma and George when he was asked what he thought about Paige's relationship with Jacques back in the main villa – and Samuel did not hold back. Watch here:

Having watched some of Paige and Jacques' journey from home before coming into the villa, Samuel, like other Love Island fans, had seen the couple's journey and had some thoughts to share with Paige.

Samuel was happy to share that Paige likes Jacques 'far more' than he likes her, and that 'he is aware of it'.

Admitting that he had been in a similar situation before himself, he hinted that Jacques had the power in the relationship and that he had 'disrespected' Paige.

When Paige asked him to elaborate, Samuel continued: "He has disrespected you in scenarios where he shouldn’t have done. If they’ve put a girl in there that is confident, is very flirtatious and as good looking as you, his head could potentially turn.

"Because he’s that type of guy. He’s one of those where, in a flirty situation, he’s definitely flirting back."

Although Paige let on like she wasn't bothered by the observation, she later admitted to the girls that it had left her feeling upset and confused about her relationship with Jacques.

But while Paige was visibly distraught by Samuel's comments, fans at home were thrilled that the Casa Amor boy had spoken up.

Taking to Twitter to discuss his perfect read of the couple, one fan raved: "So they put Samuel in the villa to expose Jacques and force Paige to see the reality."

"Samuel really summarised all of Jacques' red flags and then said 'it's just an observation though'," tweeted another impressed viewer.

"Samuel telling Paige that Jacques has disrespected her. Finally someone said it," a third cheerfully wrote.

"King Samuel preaching to self respect and not being disrespected to Paige," added a fourth.

And a fifth pointed out: "Notice how Samuel told Paige she’s a mug so respectfully as compared to the Casa girls telling Andrew he’s a mug "

While in Casa Amor, Paige had briefly been getting to know new boy Billy, but friend-zoned the bombshell on Tuesday night when she realised her heart was still with Jacques.

Meanwhile, back at the main villa, Jacques had decided he wasn't going to wait around for Paige to come back, and moved on to new girl Cheyanne.

In a preview clip for Wednesday night's episode, 6 July, it looks like Jacques will make a proper move on Cheyanne, with a teaser of the pair exchanging a steamy kiss on the terrace.

Will Jacques and Paige make it past Casa Amor or will they soon be going their separate ways?
