Love Is Blind Creators Reveal The Secret Proposals That Didn't Make The Edit

Did you notice these couples were missing?

If you've been hooked to Love Is Blind Season 2, you might have noticed that two couples who started on the show, were cut from the series.

Yep, there were actually two more couples who got engaged but didn't head off for their luxury honeymoon in Mexico.

The show's creator, Chris Coelen, has revealed that Kara Williams and Jason Beaumont, as well as Caitlin McKee and Joey Miller didn't make the cut.

And eagle eyed fans may remember the singles from the first episode. Speaking about her dating history, Kara said: “They don’t give me that chance.

“I feel like I have so much to give, but I can’t even get to that point.” But Kara managed to connect with 31-year-old Jason, a flight attendant.

Jason described Kara as “one of the most charismatic, loving, & supportive people [he’s] ever met" (

Although the couple have since split, on Instagram last month, Jason described Kara as “one of the most charismatic, loving, & supportive people [he’s] ever met.”

"Kara & I had conversations in 10 days that had never even come up in my previous long term relationships,” he said. “Kara found a way to knock that wall down for me & be myself which became the turning point for me in this entire experiment.”

Meanwhile, viewers might remember Joey from the first episode, who spoke about his head of silver hair.

“I’ve never made it past the first date without a girl bringing up my grey hair,” he said.

“Developed a little bit of a complex!”

He ended up striking up a connection with Caitlin, who revealed the pair “had an amazing summer and fall [2021] with the opportunity to travel, meet each other’s families, and build a genuine relationship without the cameras and crew.”

The pair broke up, but are still friends.

So why didn't they make the cut? Chris explained: “You only have so many crews and so much budget and so much time. It would be amazing to follow everybody, but you just have to decide what feels like a good group to follow.”
