For those who aren't aware, the show is based on Joe Hill and Gabriel Rodriguez's graphic novels, with some fans comparing it to a darker version of Narnia.
In season one, we saw the Locke family move into their dad's ancestral estate after his gruesome murder, where they discover magical keys that may unlock the secret of who they are and what happened to their dad.
Season one ended with the Locke family believing they had gotten rid of the 'big bad' - a demon, from the town of Matheson. But, the show left audiences on a cliffhanger by showing us that the evil entity had in fact inhabited someone else.
So, what is to come in season two?
The second season of Locke and Key will likely pick up where it ended in season one, with the Locke family having fallen victim to the demon after it morphed into Dodge, Gabe and Lucas.
They've got some challenges ahead, though. Firstly, they have to tackle the fact they chucked Ellie into the void between the Omega Door, after the demon's scheming.
Plus, it looks like Eden has now been taken over by the demon now, too.
Of course, there are also going to be more doors and more keys, with tonnes more mysteries to boot.
Speaking about the new series, Carlton Cuse and Meredith Averill promised the second series would allow potential for "new stories" to be told.
"There definitely are stories left in the comics that we want to hold onto, to use in future seasons," Averill said. "So, it still remains a bit of a remix, of pulling from stories from the comic and our own original stories."
Emilia Jones also teased another plot line to come, telling Collider: "Tyler is gonna be 18, so he’ll start forgetting the magic, which will be a good storyline because Tyler and Kinsey are so close.
"They talk about everything and do everything together. Those are the stories that I would like to explore in Season 2."
There will be lots of returning cast members for season two, including Darby Stanchfield as Nina Locke, Connor Jessup as Tyler Locke, Emilia Jones as Kinsey Locke, Jackson Robert Scott as Bode Locke, Griffin Gluck as Gabe, Laysla De Oliveira as Dodge, Petrice Jones as Scot Cavendish and Genevieve Kang as Jackie Veda.
Meanwhile, Bill Heck is set to return as the Locke family's dead father and Cody Bird will be back as Rufus Whedon. Aaron Ashmore and Hallea Jones are also set to return as Duncan Locke and Eden Hawkins.
Locke and Key will return to Netflix just in time for Halloween, dropping on Friday October 22nd. Just in time for a spooky syndrome binge...
