People Are Saying Netflix's 'Locke & Key' Is The 'Best Show Of 2020'

When people start calling a TV show "the best of 2020" you just know it *has* to be a winner.

Which is why we're very excited to binge-watch Netflix's Locke & Key this weekend, after fans have been raving about it over on Twitter.

The 10-part series is an adaptation of the best-selling comic book series by Joe Hill and Gabriel Rodriguez, with some fans comparing it to a darker version of Narnia.

If you're yet to binge-watch the show, it's all about three siblings whose father is mysteriously murdered. Following his death, the Locke family move in to their ancestral home, Keyhouse.

Shortly after they arrive, the Locke kids unearth a series of keys which link to their father's untimely death. As they discover what each key means - and how they can use them - they awaken a mysterious demon within the house.

The creepy series sees the siblings do whatever they can to uncover the truth about their father's peculiar death. All the while, the demon at force within the home is hell bent on stealing the keys - the only asset they have in unlocking the truth.

The show stars Darby Stanchfield (Scandal) as Nina Locke, Jackson Robert Scott (IT and IT 2) as Bode Locke, and Connor Jessup (American Crime) as Tyler Locke. Emilia Jones (Horrible Histories) also stars as Kinsey Locke.

It sounds pretty gripping to us and viewers definitely agree. Many are calling it the "best show they've watched" with others admitted to being addicted and binge-watching all 10 episodes in a matter of days.

Another viewer even rated it a whopping 12/10, adding that it had given them all the feels and hoping there would be several more seasons to come.

"Locke and Key is the best series I've ever had the pleasure of watching, and i haven't even finished it yet. I've felt more emotions in the last 3 hours than i have watching any other TV show. 12/10 hope we get like 6 more seasons," they wrote.

Since the show aired last week, fans have been calling for Netflix to confirm a second series as soon as possible.
