Gogglebox's Jenny Gives Health Update Following Absence From Show

Gogglebox star Jenny Newby has given fans an update after her absence from the show recently.

Fan favourite Jenny recently underwent an operation in hospital, with viewers at home concerned over her absence from the show while in recovery.

But it seems Jenny is certainly on the mend, after she appeared in a video with friend and co-star Lee Riley, thanking followers for all their well wishes.
“Hi everybody, you'll never guess who I've just bumped into,” said Lee, before turning the camera to face Jenny.
"She's out of hospital!"
Jenny added: “I just want to thank you all for your kind get well wishes, they've really cheered me up, thank you very much and I'm looking forward to seeing you all in series 20."
Lee then gave away the date of the next season of Gogglebox, leaving fans delighted with the news.
"Yass omg so happy to see you you’re doing well Jenny missed seeing you both on Gogglebox," one viewer wrote.
While another commented: "Aww so pleased you are out of hospital Jenny sending you lots of love and best wishes on the rest of your recovery. I can’t wait to have you back on our screens very soon."
And a third said: "Glad Jenny is feeling better, missed you both."
Lee and Jenny, who live in Hull, have been on the show since 2014 and are popular with viewers for their candid reactions and hilarious conversations.
The video comes after the Malones shared a separate update about the show earlier this week, explaining this week's episode, airing on Friday 27 May, will be the series finale.
Fans were gutted, with one person commenting: "Oh no will have to make the most of you all and keep watching the re-runs."
Another added: "No I can't believe it's nearly the end of this series. Friday night is Googlebox night."
