Former Love Island contestant Jacques O'Neill has taken to Twitter to announce that he is mental health is now in a better place.
The 23-year-old shocked fans of the hit ITV2 dating show when he decided to leave earlier this month following the return of bombshell Adam Collard the previous day.
Jacques' final scenes aired on 12 July and showed him tearfully telling Paige Thorne, with whom he coupled up with, he would want to make her his girlfriend once she left the show.
In the days that followed, the 24-year-old paramedic has moved on with Adam.

Since leaving the villa, Jacques has been inundated with positive messages from fans after his exit and he has now thanked viewers while also providing an update about his state of mind.
Sharing a picture of himself out and about, Jacques said: "I just want you all to know that I’m in such a better place mentally. A huge reason for that is because of all the love and support I have received! I’d be in a much darker place if it wasn’t for all of your kind words, so thank you again I appreciate it so much."

Following his departure, Jacques made a guest appearance on Love Island: Aftersun (17 July) where he was asked by host Laura Whitmore about Paige seemingly moving on with Adam and their first kiss.

He reminded Laura that before he left the show, he told Paige to 'crack on' and he said that while he did believe the pair had a connection, he was happy to see her doing what she needed to do.
