I’m A Celebrity salaries: What do the contestants get paid?

Pay packets for taking part in the hit reality TV series aren’t confirmed, but the earnings of previous contestants have been widely speculated and used to predict what this year’s campmates will earn from the show.

Not all celebrities are paid the same amount and it’s also thought that ITV has been spending less on talent in the last couple of years - which could be down to Covid-19 budget cuts.

It’s widely reported that Richard Madeley, who ITV has been trying to get on the show for years, will take home £200,000 from his appearance on the show, despite leaving early on on medical grounds. While that sounds like a lot, it’s considerably less than what two of last year’s celebs took home, with Mo Farah reportedly earning £300,000 and Vernon Kay earning £250,000.

It’s reported that Caitlyn Jenner was paid £500,000 for appearing on I’m A Celebrity in 2019 and Harry Redknapp, the jungle king of 2018, took home the same amount.

Who is the highest-paid contestant on I’m A Celebrity?

Again, none of this is confirmed, but it’s speculated that Noel Edmonds, who entered the jungle in 2018, is the highest-paid contestant in the show’s history, having taken home £600,000 for his brief stint in the series.

The winner of I’m A Celebrity isn’t given a cash prize, just the title and, of course, their very own crown to take home.

Of course, all celebs are paid for appearing on the show and their participation will likely led to more paid gigs like TV appearances, advertising deals and brand endorsements.

How much will Danny Miller earn from I’m A Celebrity 2021?

It’s estimated that this year’s castle king, Danny Miller, will be paid £75,000 for appearing on I’m A Celebrity. Meanwhile, his Olympian campmates Kadeena Cox and Matty Lee are expected to take home £50,000.
