With adorable merchandise, butter beer and even a real-life Kings Cross station announcement, Potterheads are always looking for ways to bring the magic of the wizarding world into their lives.

But it turns out that fans of the franchise have actually long been able to cast their very own spells using something many already own: an iPhone. Check out these neat Harry Potter spells below:

In a viral video posted by @thebrandonleecook on TikTok, the content creator spilled all the details on how to become a wizard using your handheld device.

All you have to do to make the first hack work is say "Hey Siri" to your iPhone to activate the virtual assistant. Then say "Lumos" and the phone's torch should turn on.

Lumos, the wand-lighting charm, was used to illuminate the tip of the caster’s wand to allow them to see in the dark, just like a torch.

In the Harry Potter franchise, Levina Monkstanley invented the Wand-Lighting Charm in the 18th century and it was first used publicly in the Ministry of Magic in 1772.

It’s an incredibly simple, albeit super useful, spell and we can all relate to having to see in the dark or needing some extra light to find something that rolled under our beds.

And just like in the films, all you have to do to switch off the torch is tell Siri "Nox" and voilà, you're a wizard.

That's not all. The summoning spell "Accio" can also load your favourite apps via Siri. "Accio TikTok" for example.

Fans on the social media site were left mindblown, with thousands of eager Potterheads trying the hack themselves following the video.

One TikToker commented under the video: "I just tried this and oh my heaven it worked!"

"That worked," another social media user penned beneath the TikTok.

Elsewhere on Twitter, the hack also went viral. One Twitter user said: “I'm NEVER turning it on or off manually EVER AGAIN," while another person wrote: “This is the best thing to happen to me all day.”

Meanwhile, a third Harry Potter fan tweeted: "I’m a wizard now chile” and another person joked: “When your phone is also a Harry Potter stan.”

And another replied: “Lmaoo ayo this made me smile so hard."

I don't know about you, but we're obsessed with this trick. Will you be giving it a try?
