Friends Fans Point Out Major 'Plot Hole'

Friends fans have pointed out a major 'plot hole' in one of the show's storylines - and we are shook.

After watching every episode a zillion times, we can't believe we never noticed this before!

Pointed out on a Reddit thread of TV shows and movies with plot holes, one user explained a flaw in a storyline between Rachel and Season 6 boyfriend, Paul Stevens.

Rachel meets Paul (played by Bruce Willis) through Ross, who at the time is dating Paul's daughter, Elizabeth.

But one fan isn't impressed with Bruce's cameo, considering Chandler, Joey and Ross are major Die Hard fans.

They wrote on Reddit: "In the show Friends. Chandler and Joey love the movie Die Hard, and then Rachel starts dating Bruce Willis and they say nothing."

And other Redditors were shook by the revelation too, with one writing: "Oh wow, have watched friends like 50 times. Never thought of this."

"I never caught that and I’m a huge fan of the show. This changes everything," added another.

While another person theorised: "Maybe in the universe of Friends Die Hard is different than in ours?

"A lot of things in there are either fake or slightly changed, but Die Hard was only mentioned, so it could be possible that either Bruce looked different there or the main character was played by someone else."

And another said: "In fairness Bruce Willis was playing a character in the show not himself so it makes perfect sense."

Meanwhile, some pointed out other 'plot holes' from the show.

One wrote: "Also Phoebe panics about never having been in a serious relationship or living with a significant other before Mike, but she had that relationship with that cop where they got so far as to very briefly move in together.

"I’d call that one a serious relationship at least, but wouldn’t put much points into the living together part."

While another added: "They also mention how hot Elle Macpherson is and she guest stars later."
