Euphoria fans are convinced that they've spotted J.Lo in a new teaser trailer for the HBO show's second season.

The trailer in question offered fans a teaser clip of what to expect from Maddy Perez (Alexa Demie) this season, including one scene with a rather familiar face.

Check out the clip here:

From the trailer, it looks like Maddy is about to go a little bit off the rails, between getting involved with Nate (Jacob Elordi) again and starting some pretty violent fights.

But fans were focused on one shot in particular that hinted she might have a new confidante to help her get through it all - and they're certain that it's none other than Jennifer Lopez.

In the shot, the J.Lo lookalike tells Maddy: "If you were still dating guys like this in your 40s, then we'd be having a very different conversation."

One Euphoria fan commented: "Omg is that JLo-"

Another asked: "Who the f*ck was that? JLo?"

We hate to burst fans' bubbles, but Jenny is not coming to the block any time soon.

Maddy's new pal is actually actress Minka Kelly - best known for her starring roles in Friday Night Lights and Parenthood.

Minka, 41, is one of the newest stars to be added to the Euphoria cast, and while not much is known about her role in the series, The Hollywood Reporter describes her character as a a "jaded, drugged-out suburban housewife."

Also new to the cast this season are Demetrius “Lil Meech” Flenory Jr, reportedly playing a new love interest of Maddy's, and singer-songwriter Dominic Fike, whose character is set to befriend Rue Bennett (Zendaya).

All of last season's favourites will be back for the highly anticipated second series, including Maude Apatow, Angus Cloud, Eric Dane, Jacob Elordi, Barbie Ferreira, Nika King, Storm Reid, Hunter Schafer, Algee Smith, Sydney Sweeney and Colman Domingo.

Zendaya will return as Rue for Euphoria's second season.

The storyline has been kept very much under wraps ahead of the season premiere, but fans are beginning to piece together clues from new teaser trailers to develop their own theories.

Thankfully, they won't be left guessing for much longer, with the first episode of season two set to drop this weekend!

Season two of Euphoria will begin airing weekly in the US on January 9, 2022, and air the following day in the UK on Sky Atlantic and NOW.
