Chloe Viewers Left Red-Faced By NSFW Scene In Opening Episode

Warning: Do not watch with your parents!

Those who tuned in to watch new BBC drama series Chloe on Sunday were taken by surprised when the opening episode featured a very NSFW scene.

Watch the surprising NSFW scene here:

The six-part drama thriller follows Becky (Erin Doherty), a young woman who compulsively compares her life to the picture perfect lives she follows on Instagram - specifically that of one woman named Chloe Fairbourne. When Chloe dies suddenly, Becky finds herself caught up in the mess, assuming a new identity to get to the bottom of it all.

Within the first ten minutes of episode one, which aired this weekend, fans were cringing in their seats as they watched a full-on sex scene unfold on their screens.

Becky soon found herself in bed with an American man named Josh (Brandon Michael Hall), and the pair really didn't hold anything back...

Hiding their faces in their phones, viewers took to social media to discuss what they had just witnessed.

"Well she doesn’t hang about #Chloe", tweeted one viewer.

"Glad I watched that scene with my mum in the room 😳#Chloe", commented another.

"I'm enjoying #Chloe, but I'm also had to pause at least five times already to cringe myself inside out" wrote a third.

While some were slow to wrap their heads around the premise of the new BBC drama, viewers are enjoying Chloe, and looking forward to seeing how Becky involves herself in the drama, after learning that the woman she is so obsessed with has unexpectedly died.

After posing as her boss' wife and going under the alias of Sasha, viewers watched as Becky manoeuvred a chance meeting with Chloe's best fiend Livia (Pippa Bennett-Warner), placing herself into Chloe's world to get to the bottom of what happened.

Chloe will continue on Monday at 9pm on BBC One and BBC iPlayer.
