Warning: This article contains spoilers for 365 Days: This Day.

The second film in Netflix's erotic movie franchise, 365 Days: This Day, dropped on Wednesday and fans have been glued to their screens ever since.

One character, however, has caused endless confusion amongst fans on social media and now they're all asking the same question.

Laura (Anna-Maria Sieklucka) meets the mysterious Nacho (Simone Susinna) in the new film, who works as a gardener for her new husband Massimo (Michele Morrone).

The couple's marriage takes a shocking twist when Laura spots someone who appears to be Massimo canoodling with his former lover, Anna (Natasza Urbanska).

This shocking revelation leads to Laura perusing Nacho but things are not what they seem.

It turns out Massimo has a secret twin brother, Adriano (also played by Michele Morrone). Things reach boiling point when Laura is brought face-to-face with his mysterious identical twin brother.

She's held at gunpoint by both Adriano and Anna as Massimo and Nacho rush to her rescue.

Laura manages to break free from Adriano's grasp and dramatically runs towards Massimo but she is quickly gunned down by Anna, and she falls to the floor in a pool of blood.

Viewers have one vital question about Adriano - why did Massimo fail to mention he had a twin?

"Why tf wouldn’t massimo tell Laura that he had an evil twin brother," one concerned viewer asked on Twitter.

While another concerned Twitter user shared: "The thing that took me out the most was the ending of 365 where they pretended he had a twin brother".

A third added: "How is the plot of the second 365 days movie even more ridiculous than the first one??"

A fourth fan wrote: "So, like is there going to be another 365? Cause the brother is not dead, that was not a kill shot. Laura could possibly survive. Massimo is still alive and nacho dad isn’t going to like that. They had me fooled tho I thought he really cheated on her."

While someone else penned: "The whole second part of 365 is confusing me I don’t get anything like she survived Massimo apparently has a twin someone else survived too Nacho tryna [sic] steal Laura and the twin is f***ing the ex of his twin brother massimo ok".

Another confused fan tweeted: "Why tf did 365 days end like that? I thought that Massimo really cheated on Laura only to find out that he has a twin brother???"

There could be a plausible reason to explain why Massimo decided to ignore the fact he has a twin brother. Adriano has a frosty relationship with his twin and he is seen as being a burden to the Torricelli mob family owing to his jealousy of twin.

We'll have to wait until the hotly anticipated third 365 Days film, which was announced by Netflix in 2021, finally drops...

365 Days: This Day is available to stream now on Netflix.
