First Photos Of Jaw-Dropping New Disney Cruise Line Ship

The Disney Wish is ready to set sail and my does she look great...

Disney has just unveiled their new cruise ship The Disney Wish - and it looks sensational.

First announced back in 2019, The Disney Wish is the first out of three new cruise liners being added over the next couple of years.

The new ship joins the Disney Magic, Disney Wonder, Disney Dream, and Disney Fantasy on the seven seas and will no doubt delight passengers when she sets sail the coming weeks.

Disney marked the boat’s first time on water with an extra special ‘float out’ appearance with none other than Captain Minnie Mouse.

Sharing several photos from the event, Disney captioned their Twitter post: "A Disney Wish come true…

"The newest Disney Cruise Line ship touched water for the first time today during ‘float out,’ a major construction milestone celebrated in true Disney style with fireworks and a special appearance by Captain Minnie Mouse!"

Disney fans were thrilled with the announcement and flooded the comments with well wishes for the boat.

One penned: "She’s a stunning vessel! Her builders should be proud! Wishing her crew best of luck during sea trails!".

"So excited for our cruise this summer! We can’t wait to be aboard the #DisneyWish!!!" another excitedly shared.

A third added: "Congratulations to all involved, she is a beautiful ship."

Fans first got a glimpse of the cruise ship’s interiors last April.

In the 3D tour, Disney unveiled a grand atrium where guests will be greeted by a statue of Cinderella and a giant wishing star chandelier.

And there are some seriously cool new features included on boat, such as an actual 760ft long water ride attraction on the top deck, named the Aqua Mouse, as well as six swimming pools, an adult-only zone and a kids' Splash Zone.

"We're taking fun in the sun to the next level on board the Disney Wish with a brand-new family water attraction and three themed districts that offer dedicated space for families, children and adults alike," Disney explained at the time.

There's also another swimming pool - this time in an infinity design - and a luxurious spa which features private treatment rooms, lavish spa villas and steam and aromatherapy rooms.

Meanwhile, Disney has made some extra cool changes to its kids' club - which children can enter via an epic slide from the grand hall.

And there are so many activities for kids to choose from, including a Marvel Superhero Training Academy and a Fairytale Hall where children can visit Belle in her library or Rapunzel in her art studio.

And Star Wars fans, there's something for you too - a Hyperspace Lounge where you'll board a spaceship upon entry, exploring panoramic views of the galaxy.

Meanwhile, the ship's theatre is inspired by the magical forest and when it comes to food, guests will be able to enjoy a Frozen themed theatrical experience and a Marvel Cinematic Dining Adventure - part of three new dining experiences on The Disney Wish.

Guests will also be able to enjoy menus "featuring world class cuisine infused with Nordic influences", and there's a very elegant Hollywood themed restaurant named 1923, combining "classic Hollywood elegance with a menu inspired by California's fusion of cultural flavours".

When it comes to accommodation, each luxurious bedroom is themed around Disney characters, with the majority offering spectacular views out onto the ocean.

Well shiver me timbers, that sounds amazing!
