Drivers have only just found out how to use the sun visor in their car correctly, and we’re shook.

The TikToker, @sidneyraz discovered the hack in his own car, and it’s life-changing, to be honest.

Check out the video here:

Commenters quickly took to the video to share their surprise at the sun visor hack, with one viewer simply writing: “Whaaaaat!”

“Um, I’m 44 and just learned this from this video,” another user admitted.

“Are you kidding me?”, another social media mogul wrote.

“Omg, I'm in my mid-40s and didn't know.”

A different user backed the hack, penning: “I was in my car when I saw this and omg it’s true.”

“Nope, refuse to believe this,” a different commenter wrote. “Just to reinforce my belief (or lack thereof), I'm not going to try mine.”

However, some have warned that the sun visor trick doesn’t work on all car models.

“Tried it. Need to buy new sun visors. Not all do [this] apparently,” they penned.

“Wish every car does it!,” another echoed.

Some sun visors do [this], some don't,” a different viewer advised. Betty even admitted: “This is how I broke the sun visor on my 19-year-old Jeep, it did not extend.”

The MOT inspection manual states that: “The following is only considered a defect if it seriously restricts the driver’s view: sun visor on the driver’s side that cannot be stowed in the ‘off screen’ position,” according to DVSA.

Tyla has contacted an expert to see if this sun visor hack really works.
