TikTok is our go-to for learning genius tips and tricks, discovering the latest fashion and music trends, and just generally trying to keep up with whatever the kids are into these days.

But just when we thought we had figured it all out – from 'main characters' and 'pick-me girls' to 'passing vibe checks' and 'living in someone's head rent free' – a new slang term has come along to make us feel old all over again and leave us wondering: What on earth is an 'unspoken rizz'?

Videos that mention the new slang term usually involve someone or a group of friends demonstrating their 'unspoken rizz', which seems to involve a subtle nod, glance, wink, or beckon to the camera before strolling away.

The term has taken off on TikTok overnight and those who aren't already in the know are scrambling to try and figure out what it could possibly mean.

Well, look no further. After some heavy research, we've gotten to the bottom of it.

To understand the term 'unspoken rizz', we must first break it down.

According to Urban Dictionary, 'rizz' refers to someone's ability to attract a love interest.

The term was reportedly coined by YouTuber and Twitch streamer Kai Cenat, who claims his 'rizz' helps him to impress women.

If you have good 'rizz', then picking someone up is a piece of cake. You have charm, confidence, and stellar flirting skills. But if you don't have it, then you're probably leaving the club solo.

Once you know what 'rizz' means, 'unspoken rizz' is pretty self explanatory.

Essentially, it refers to your ability to impress or attract someone without having to say a word.

This can consist of the aforementioned nods, winks and beckons that TikTokers are demonstrating.

Can you woo a woman with a simple glance? Can you make a man swoon with just a smile?

Then congratulations; it sounds like you have 'unspoken rizz' - a trait to truly be proud of in the age of TikTok.
