MAC Cosmetics Is Selling An Advent Calendar Full Of Festive Make-Up Treats

Now that summer is well and truly over, it's about time we started thinking about the countdown to Christmas and all the treats that come with it.

Gone are the days that people are satisfied with munching on a little chocolate treat each morning in December, people want so much more than that and MAC Cosmetics is here to deliver.

The make-up brand is releasing its first ever advent calendar, which will be filled with cosmetic treats from its festive Shiny Pretty Things collection, and it is just as incredible as you can imagine.

It includes 24 gorgeous gifts including cult beauty buys like Velvet Teddy lipstick and Feline eye pencil, as well as a whole load of mini must-have beauty products so the whole of December will feel like Christmas day.

The advent calendar will cost £125 which is pretty decent if you'd imagine how much it would normally cost to go and buy 24 MAC products.

It will be on sale from Wednesday, 18th October so there's plenty of time to stock up before Mr and Mrs Claus are on their way.

Also getting involved in the beauty advent calendar game for the first time is Net-a-Porter and it's everything we've been waiting for.

The calendar has 25 luxury doors which each feature products from the likes of Charlotte Tilbury, Sunday Riley, Hourglass and Marc Jacobs - which definitely earns its £150 price tag in our eyes.

However, if these two calendars are just pushing it a bit budget wise, you can also get your hands on Feel Unique's £75 beauty advent calendar, containing £250 worth of products, including the likes of Percy and Reed, Sleek, Murad, Make Up Forever and Sol De Janeiro's iconic Brazilian Bum Bum Cream.

Wow, this really puts our £1 milk chocolate advent calendars to shame... but we'll still happily take the chocolate too.
