Shoppers divided over Primark's new Christmas jumper that's being called a 'monstrosity'

Primark has released a Christmas jumper that has divided opinions online.

Primark has released a divisive Christmas jumper, but fans can’t decide whether they love or hate it.

Christmas is only nine weeks away and we’re really starting to see festive bits pop up everywhere we go.

Christmas adverts are starting to creep back onto the TV, mince pies are making their way into the bakery sections of supermarkets, and one high street chain has started stocking this year’s Christmas jumpers…and fans are losing their minds about it.

Primark has started gearing up for the big day, with a new range of festive jumpers to get you in the spirit, ahead of the winter season.

One of which caused particular debate and chaos among shoppers.

Primark has made the jumper inclusive for everyone.

Here you have it…the Subway Christmas jumper.

First reactions?

Why on earth is it £18, would be one of them.

While some are racing down to their local Primark to try and get hold of one, others would pay £18 not to have one…OK, maybe we took it too far with that.

If you can’t get enough of the famous foot-longs, then this might just be the perfect outfit for you.

Eye-catching is definitely one word for it.

People certainly haven’t held back from voicing their opinions.

“That's extortionate.”

One person on Facebook said: “Definitely need that!”

Whilst another added: “This was made for me.”

However others were not so approving of the garish jumper.

One said: “£18 for tat.”

A second said: “That's extortionate.”

Another added: “Why is this a thing? First a Primark jumper, now this.”

One person went even further, and was clearly offended by the creation, tagging their friend saying: “Have we had this monstrosity in?”

If you do want to celebrate the popular sandwich chain this festive season - after all, what screams Christmas more than a meatball marinara? - Primark has made the jumper inclusive for everyone.

The sizing ranges from extra small, to an extra, extra large.

So no one is missing out on their Subway festive wear.

And this isn’t the only Christmas jumper that Primark have stocked ready to go for December.

It seems as though this year they have taken a liking to the Grinch, and have a lot of merchandise in stores for all your pals that hate Christmas.

The Disney-themed festive jumpers have also made a return to shelves, which never seem to cause as much controversy with people as the Subway ones have…
