Primark has opened two new Disney Lilo & Stitch-themed cafes, accompanying the brand new range of adorable Stich products.

Lilo & Stitch was an instant classic when it hit cinemas back in 2002, and has since won over hordes of younger viewers thanks to the modern power of streaming.

The animated film follows an orphaned little girl, Lilo, who is being raised by older sister, Nani, at their home in Hawaii.

The siblings decide to adopt a ‘dog’ from the local pound, only to find their new friend is actually a mischievous extraterrestrial creature that has fled to Earth.

Over time, they train the unusual pet – who they name Stitch - to become a ‘good model citizen’, while also trying to prove to Child Protective Services that they are a functional family.

Primark has now channelled the magic from the movie into a new collection of Stich-themed clothes and accessories, and now also two ‘Hawaiian paradise’ cafes with a limited edition menu.

Along with the Surf’s Up Shake and Hawaiian Slushies, the Stitch Surf Shack will be serving up fruit smoothies and tropical hot drinks like Coco-offee, Coco-choccee and Tropical Tea.

If you find you’re getting a bit peckish while shopping, you can also tuck in to Surfboard Subs – choosing between the Classic Margarita and Hawaiian Rollercoaster Ride – or sweet treats like the Tidal Twist Bubblegum Waffle, a fresh waffle with bubblegum sauce, blueberries, sprinkles and whipped cream, or the Sunset Strawberry Waffle, which comes with strawberry sauce, strawberries, sprinkles and whipped cream.

The cafes are located at the Primark store in the Trafford Centre in Manchester and Primark on Birmingham's High Street.

A Primark spokesperson said customers in Trafford and Birmingham can now say ‘Aloha’ to Disney’s Stitch Surf Shack.

“From now until March, our Primarket café has been transformed into a Hawaiian paradise, the perfect place for customers to relax, recharge and enjoy a limited-edition menu,” the statement said.

Drinks cost from £4, while the Surfboard Subs are both £5.50 and the waffle dishes are £6.50.

The cafes join a new line of merch.

There’s even a range of cute baby and toddler items, such as the Lilo & Stitch High-Top Trainers and the Lilo & Stitch Tutu Dress.
