Father’s Day is fast approaching and if, like us, you’re stumped for what to buy the man in your life, there’s a delicious-smelling aftershave we reckon you can’t go wrong with.

It consistently charts among Amazon’s bestsellers and is among the most popular luxury brands in the UK according to YouGov data, with thousands of five-star reviews across the web.

The fragrance launched in 1992 and quickly became a cult classic, and it’s just as popular more than 30 years on with fans taking to Reddit to share how they’re showered with ‘so many compliments’ when they wear it.

Boots/ Issey Miyake

The scent in question is currently selling for £50 at Boots, a whopping saving of £34 just in time for the big day on June 16th.

And over at Boots the cologne has earned a rare 4.8-star average rating from hundreds of customers who’ve either bought it for themselves, or gifted it to the men in their life.

Billed as the perfect gift for ‘the dad who seems to have everything’, it’s described as a ‘fresh and light’ scent that fans say sparks instant nineties nostalgia.

With top notes of yuzu (a Japanese citrus fruit) it’s also infused with cinnamon, nutmeg and sandalwood for a warm, spicy feel. And you can buy it here.

The aftershave is part of the wider men’s fragrance range at Boots, which includes:

1) A ‘fresh and light’ nineties classic

This cult classic is zingy and citrussy, with tangerine mingled with tobacco and sandalwood – a mix described as ‘assertive and masculine’.

2) A ‘summer-ready’ scent

The newest scent in the fragrance range, it’ll transport you to springtime with the scent bringing to mind cool water, rays of sunshine and a cool breeze with a touch of lavender.

3) An ‘earthy, woody’ fragrance

Vetiver, ginger and sage combine for this warm, spicy scent.

You can shop the range here.
