We don’t mean to scare you but Halloween is fast approaching and if you haven’t made your home nice and cosy yet, then now is your chance.

Last year, a spooky homeware essential went viral and shoppers were so desperate to get hold of the cult item, it sold out within a matter of minutes.

Now, it's back in stock, and Brits have begun the annual search for the raved-about product in time for October 31.

It’s already been spotted in TK Maxx so you may be in luck if you run to your nearest store and if not, we've found a budget dupe on Amazon.

The product in question? A ghost blanket.

One TikToker user documented her hilarious search for the viral blanket on the social media platform and even managed to bag one in a multicolour print in the process. Followers were thrilled and took to the comments section to congratulate her on the exciting purchase.

“I'm so happy for you, you've been looking for the blanket for so long, girl,” one wrote.

Another added, “No, I need this blanket right now! If you see another one girl, help me out.”

A third recommended heading to your nearest TK Maxx or Homesense store bright and early if you're keen. “I found it in my local store yesterday, there were only two left, I was buzzing! Defo best to go earlier in the morning.”

Another TikTok user by the name of @kiersti headed to her local store to 'add to her collection'. In the caption, she wrote: "Ahh, TK Maxx halloween decor has been amazing this year! 2024."

The video amassed over 3,000 likes with followers keen to get their hands on one in time for Halloween too.

One follower summed up how everyone is feeling, as she wrote: "It’s not a want, it’s a need!"

The £24.99 viral blanket is reportedly by Witch Crafters and is available in different colours.

The ghost blanket has proven so popular, it's fetching for upwards of £75 on eBay and Vinted - making for a pretty smart investment if you can find one.

Where can I buy the viral ghost blanket?

A budget dupe of the OG ghost blanket is now available to shop Amazon for just £7.34.

Although the highly sought after item is not available on the TK Maxx website, there are similar alternatives available, such as the Fanged Smiley Throw.

Make sure to hurry, it's sure to sell out fast.
