When a beauty hack is doing the rounds on TikTok we're all ears, and there’s a budget dupe hair tool that it seems everyone is talking about right now.

With over 25,000 reviews on Amazon, the hair styler has been called ‘life-changing’ by shoppers with many saying it’s ‘so much better than Dyson’.

The product in question? The Revlon One-Step Hair Dryer and Volumiser — and it's more than £350 cheaper than the OG Dyson Air Wrap.

On TikTok, people have pitted the two hair tools against each other, with the budget dupe coming out on top time and time again.

Over on Amazon, the reviews are overwhelmingly positive too. One glowing five-star review reads, “I used my friend’s Dyson Air Wrap a few times and almost wanted to get one until another friend recommended the Revlon Dryer. I’m so happy I bought this product. It gives a way more significant wavy look and dries your hair much faster.”

Another agreed that it’s better than the cult Dyson Air Wrap, as they commented: “Sold my Dyson Airwrap and replaced it with Revlon! The Revlon [hair tool] makes my frizzy, curly, and thick hair sooo smooth and shiny. I get so many compliments and it only takes 30 minutes max, whereas my Dyson Air Wrap takes almost an hour!”

A third shopper wrote, “Life changing. For anyone who ‘can’t do hair’ this is the appliance you need in your life. Can’t believe I didn’t invest in this sooner!”

But one negative that people have pointed out is that the Revlon 'uses more heat' than the Dyson, which may cause heat damage.

What can the Revlon One-Step Hair Dryer and Volumiser do?

The Revlon One-Step Hair Dryer and Volumiser is a two-in-one styling tool designed to ‘detangle, dry, and volumise’ hair in ‘half the time’ of an average hair dryer. It can be used on wet hair and the oval brush will create volume at the roots and salon-worthy soft curls at the ends.

Powered by ionic technology, it is supposed to be ‘less damaging’ with two heat settings and a cooling option to choose from. With a barrel size of two inches, it’s best used on medium to long hair.

Where to buy the cult Revlon hair tool

The Revlon One-Step Hair Dryer and Volumiser is currently available on Amazon for £47.15, that’s a saving of around 25%. Most importantly, it’s more than £350 cheaper than the original Dyson Air Wrap.

But make sure to hurry, as over 800 have sold in the last three weeks alone.
