Shoppers Say Zara Is 'Absolutely Out Of Control' After Latest Shoe Ad

Heels filled with ice cream anyone?

Shoppers have decided that Zara is 'out of control' after its latest ad for a pair of £60 lace-up heels.

The fashion retailer is known for having some totally bizarre online ads, but after Instagram page @awkwardzara came across the latest bonkers image, people are calling the brand's product shots 'out of control'.

We can't stop laughing at this...

The ad is part of the brand's spring-summer edit, and features a pair of blue sequin, lace-up heels. It's hard to get an accurate impression of the heels, however, as the very quirky shot shows the shoes are filled to the brim with melted ice cream.

And shoppers are finding the whole thing hilarious, collectively deciding that Zara has gone one step too far with its out-there photoshoots.

One person wrote: "This has absolutely gone beyond the limit and is out of control," while another said: "I think it might be time for that intervention."

Zara is known for its rather questionable product shots, having used some brow raising images in the past.

And a third added: "Is it a shoe or a waffle cone? Make your mind up Zara."

A fourth joked: "Can’t lie, I’d be upset if I ordered these and they arrived without the ice cream."

"Can I return them for free if they don’t come with ice cream?" asked another shopper.

This time last year, shoppers were left baffled by a series of campaign shots released by the high street fashion giant.

One shot saw a model in strappy green kitten heels inexplicably crouching on a stove top, ducking her head so as not to hit the extractor fan.

Meanwhile, another shows a woman kitted out in an orange trouser suit, levitating like a Marvel character next to a book shelf.

While a third depicts a model slumped forward on a sofa in what seems to be a version of yogi position Child's Pose.

Keep them coming Zara - these will never stop being hilarious!
