A woman dubbed 'the most jealous wife in the world' banned her husband from watching Anne Robinson on the TV.

Who would've thought old episodes of The Weakest Link could be so divisive?

Debbi Wood, who was 43 at the time, chatted with Christine Bleakley and Phillip Schofield on This Morning in 2015 about how she stops her husband Steve, then 31, from lusting after women on the telly.

She makes her husband take a lie detector test every time she doubts his word and every time he left the house.

She explained: "All woman have an inner beauty, but for a man it goes beyond that…lusting after a woman mentally.

"Mentally having some sort of intimate fantasy about them as opposed to actually just admiring that person’s beauty."

Debbi has lots of rules in place.

Before the interview, Debbi made headlines when she admitted to installing child-proof filters on her hubby’s laptop and mobile phone to stop him from looking at explicit pictures of women.

He was banned from watching all shows featuring women.

“One night, an advert for a women’s razor came on television and I felt panicky thinking that Steve was eyeing the model up,” she said.

“The only thing that could put my mind at rest was banning him from watching any programmes that have women in them.

“Now, I won’t even let him watch The Weakest Link in case he fancies Anne Robinson but I’m scared he’ll have a sneaky look when I’m in another room.”

Steve explained the rules set by Debbi.

Debbi and Steve started dating in 2011 after they met through a friend.

She has been diagnosed with Othello Syndrome, named after the Shakespeare character, which refers to extreme jealousy of one’s significant other, and also suffers from bipolar and body dysmorphic disorders.

Speaking to the This Morning presenters about the rules in their relationship, she declared: “When you’ve got a good man you’re not gonna let them go are you?

Anne Robinson has caused some drama in this relationship.

“I don’t think I could frighten him off if I tried.”

And Steve clarified: “I don’t think there’s any danger of that happening any time soon. If I was going to go I would have gone by now to be quite honest with you.”

He also said that Debbi’s rules ‘are not nearly as bad as you might think’.
