A woman who is in a relationship with a man nearly 30 years her senior was told by her furious dad to 'get therapy'.
Natalie Noble, 21, and Bobby Lindsey, 50, first met in 2015, when he was her tennis coach.
The pair maintain that the relationship was totally platonic to begin with, adding that 'nothing happened' between them while Natalie was studying. But once Natalie left high school and went on to college, they grew closer and realised they had feelings for one another.
You can watch a clip of them discussing their relationship below:
The relationship came as a shock to family and friends, with Natalie's mum allegedly telling Bobby he had 'stolen Natalie's youth'. She also gave him a week to tell her dad about it, or she would go to him herself.
And Natalie's dad was furious when he did find out, even telling his daughter to 'get therapy' to 'fix things'.
"In my case I told my mum in a place we were on vacation, my parents are divorced, so they didn't have to instantly tell each other," says Natalie.
When it came to telling her dad, Natalie says it was hard and 'scary'. "I'm his only daughter, he's very protective over me so obviously this was a very difficult conversation," Natalie explained.
The 21-year-old went on to explain that she did get therapy, and the family even had a therapy session together to work through some of the issues and begin to move forward.
Now, the pair regularly open up about their age-gap relationship on TikTok, answering questions from fans and often defending their situation from strangers online.
The pair face a lot of criticism daily, with one person commenting on a recent clip: "I thought this was a dad and daughter."
While another said: "Great daughter dad duo."
Others are supportive, however, with another person commenting: "So much love for you!!! I'm in a 30 year age gap relationship and couldn't be happier. Keep going."
While a second said: "Happy for you guys! So cute together by the way!"
And a third added: "I’m 20 and my fiancé is 46!!! GO GIRL!!!"
Others said the couple had inspired them themselves, with one explaining: "Seeing you guys together helped me make one of the greatest choices I've ever made. I'm with the love of my life and you helped with this."
Natalie has recently hit back at trolls, telling followers: "I'm 21 and fully capable of making my own decisions. We are just LIVING our life."
