Woman shows salon using printer paper to wax her legs and it goes horribly wrong

A TikToker’s trip to the salon has been viewed almost three millions times… and for all the wrong reasons.

TikToker @pimpttt recently took to the social media platform to share a video of herself having her legs waxed for the first time, but the clip has left people’s jaws on the floor.

21-year-old Trinity explained that she’d popped into the same salon she’d been visiting for years for a spot of pampering, having had her nails done before the wax.

Watch Trinity’s video below:

After the wax got off to a strange start, Trinity decided to film the procedure so that she could send the video to her mum and get their thoughts.

Unfortunately, Trinity’s mum had never had her legs waxed, either.

The 21-year-old Texas native explained: “So she's sitting there and she's putting the wax on and I'm like 'Okay, I don't think this is hot enough because it's hurting as she's putting it on'.''

Trinity said she then had a proper look at the paper being used to apply wax to her legs, and remarked: ''I'm like - 'Is that printer paper?''

The beautician seemed to wax her leg using printing paper.

"It's only pulling out some of the hairs - so the rest of the hairs on my leg were covered in wax and it wasn't coming off. So then she stops and pulls out tweezers and starts tweezing my leg.''

By the sound of it, the beautician knew she hadn’t pulled off a particularly successful wax as when Trinity asked if she’d have to pay for the procedure, the beautician told her it would be free.

Trinity added: “She's just smiling at me the whole time. I don't think she knows what she was doing but I think she wanted me to know that she didn't know.''

The social media user confessed to her followers she was now in two minds about going back to the salon, explaining in a follow-up video: “I've been going there forever, like getting my nails done and my toes done for like years. So I don't want to tell on them but - what are you doing?''

Thankfully, Trinity wasn't charged for the bizarre service.

At the time of writing, Trinity’s video has racked up 2.9 million views, and needless to say, people had some thoughts about the clip.

Beneath it, one person commented: “CALL THE STATE BOARD. I AM NOT PLAYING.”

Another added: “I would’ve called state board so quick, I know they don’t got no type of licences doing that technique.”

Other comments included: “What the hell?”, “Messing with your money and time” and “First mistake was going to the nail shop for a wax.”
