Reason why you never see pictures of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s children anywhere

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are notoriously protective of their children from the press

Even though seeing pictures of the Royal Family and their children is something we as Brits are used to, you might not have noticed there are two royal kids you never really see any snaps of.

While we’re all used to following the lives of Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis, have you wondered when the last time you saw an image of Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet was?

Of course, it’s a little different since one brood continues on with their royal engagements and lives in England while the other family has decided to move on from their duties and start a new life in across the pond.

But what’s the real reason Prince Harry and Meghan Markle don’t show their children in pictures often?

Even though little Archie was the star celebrity during Harry and Meghan’s Botswana tour, it’s not been too easy to catch a glimpse of the two children in the years since.

While we’ve all been able to get a little bit more insight from the family since the release of their Netflix series, Harry & Meghan, there hasn’t been too much spotlight on the kids since then.

The heavily criticised docu-series featured some lovely home footage of Archie as he grew up with his mum and dad, and all of it had never been released to the public before.

But even when it comes to special occasions, you’re unlikely to catch a glimpse of their kids.

However, there’s a good reason for it.

Speaking to US Weekly, an apparent friend of Meghan's shared why.

She said that it was all due to security.

"I think every parent wants to share their kid with the world, but they just can't," the source explained.

"[Prince] William's kids, for example, have way more safety, even though they're recognisable."

They added: "And the same doesn't apply to Meghan and Harry's children. They know the world wants to see [them but] I would expect them to live smaller lives until that gets sorted, if it ever does."

While the Sussexes have been vocal about their concerns over how the UK treats his family and Harry is often seen coming back on his own, it could also be the reason why he’s protective of his kids.

We all know how paparazzi are.

Harry spoke on the ITV documentary Tabloids on Trial last month where he shared his feelings about taking on the press, explaining: "All it takes is one lone actor, one person who reads this stuff, to act on what they have read, and whether that is a knife or acid… they are genuine concerns for me, they are one of the reasons I won't bring my wife back to this country."
